Colin was born in Tibooburra on 14th April 1912 and married Mavis Olive Blanche Ferguson. He died in Broken Hill on 1st October 1989 aged 77 and Mavis died on 5th February 2004 aged 91
Colin and Mavis produced a family of 2 sons and 2 daughters, they being Barry, Betty, Sally Ann (died 1954) and Robert.
When Binerah Downs was first in the family it was run under the name of W.G. Angell and sons so it is fair to suggest that Colin was a partner in Binerah Downs and it appears that he sold his "share" to my father and went on to purchase Mount Jack station near Wilcannia on the Darling River thus rearing his family in the very region that his own father was born.
On his retirement from the land, Mount Jack passed into the hands of his eldest son Barry. Barry has since retired and now lives in Broken Hill with his wife Virginia.
