Brian Allan Angell
Brian was born in Tibooburra on 30th July 1947, the eldest son af Allan and Merle Angell of Binerah Downs station via Tibooburra NSW.

My memories of Brian are that he loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a very popular person among his friends and at school. He had a love of model aircraft and built his own models to fly with his mates on weekends. He also built model boats.

It was always his dream to one day take over the running of Binerah Downs and after leaving school and working for a time in a small supermarket in Broken Hill, he packed his bags and headed off to the station to learn the ropes under the direction of station manager Arnold DeGoumois.

It was while working on the station that he became the victim of an accidental shooting which brought his short life to an end on 9th May 1964.

Brian is sadly missed by myself and I have no doubt, by other family members that were old enough to remember him at the time.
