Further information I have been able to ascertain about Charles by using my friend google and posted on genealogy.com by Sue Fragall is as follows:
Hi, I am really new at both genealogy and the internet but here goes anyway. My mother who was born in 1911 in Western Australia was the third daughter of Charles William Angell who was born in Unley, South Aust. in 1883. Her mother was Dora Isabell Smith who was supposedly born in Wallaroo, South Aust. They married here in Western Australia in 1905. I have been unable to ascertain what happened to Charles William Angell after the death of Dora in 1913 when my mother was only two years old. She always said that they were orphaned when very young.
Charles William Angell was the son of Charles Angell who was born in Adelaide, SA in 1855. He married Emma Balls (though I think it may have been her second marriage and that her former surname was Searle/s) in Adelaide in 1878.
Charles Angell was the son of John Angell and Mary Hawkins. At this stage this is all the information that I have though I feel John Angell and Mary Hawkins may have married in Calne, Wiltshire. I have no idea how or why they came to Australia.
